RPPS-400485

The RPPS-400485 pressure distribution sensor is a highly wrinkle-resistant and stretchable multi-point sensor, perfectly suitable for applications in seat cushions and mattresses. It can also be encapsulated for greater strength and durability. It features a 400-point array of sensing pressure sensors, with 20 sensing points in the horizontal direction and 20 in the vertical direction. Each 20x20mm has one sensing point, with a sensing point size of 5mm. The resistance value of each sensing point decreases as the pressure acting on it increases. The interface adopts a 20-pin, 1.0 pitch plug-in interface, in X+Y mode, with 20 pins in the horizontal direction and 20 pins in the vertical direction, with pin spacing of 1.0mm.

The flexible film pressure-sensitive sensor is made of mechanically superior polyester film.
It consists of a highly conductive material and a nano-scale layer.
The bottom layer is the flexible film and the conductive layer is laminated on it,
while the top layer is the flexible film and the pressure-sensitive material is laminated on it.
Both layers are adhered together with double-sided adhesive and isolated to separate the sensing areas of the upper and lower layers.
When the sensing area is pressed, the lines in the bottom layer separate from each other and conduct electricity,
and the output resistance of the metal ports changes accordingly with different pressures.
